Art in Motion
Feb - Nov 2024
We're very pleased to be supported using
public funding by the National Lottery
through Arts Council England.
A series of creative workshops for young people across Adur & Worthing, collaborating to create a collection of illustrations/images focussing on our Natural World.
The artwork features in a new exhibition on Worthing Pier, April 2024 -2026, & a selection
of the young people's illustrations have been brought to life by animator, Sam Harper Holding.
​Working in partnership with local schools; North Lancing, Sompting Village Primary, West Park CE, Whytemead; Chesswood/Homefield Junior; & these charities; Aspens & the Michael Aldrich Foundation.

'Growing Together'
April 2024 - October 2026
Creative Waves invites you to be involved in our
community project: 'Growing Together' supported
by The National Lottery Community Fund to continue
developing our BugCycle Community Garden, in Beach House Park.
We are in the garden Wednesdays 10am - midday.
If you would like to volunteer in the garden please get in touch.

Art on the Pier
Current exhibitions, interactive features & educational displays on Worthing Pier:
-
'Appear on the Pier' - featuring 107 children's illustrations, inspired by Our Natural World.
-
'Waves of Inspiration' - An 'Open' exhibition with work from 50 local artists, photographers & writers (amateurs & professional) capturing Worthing's inspiring coastline.
-
A series of creative workshops for 94 young people, produced collaborative artworks
with fun ‘peep through’ windows themed around climate change.​

Working in partnership with 3 local wildlife & conservation organisations, Worthing Museum &
the Coastal Office, we designed new educational displays including; information about seabirds, marine wildlife & the marine environment, Worthing's heritage & coastal information.
